This delightful Carroll County find is part Italian deli (with pizza!), part market, part bakery, and entirely wonderful — the kind of place that makes you want to tell everyone you know about it while simultaneously keeping it your own secret.

What Is Rocco's?

Rocco's is one of those rare spots that's hard to put in a box — and that's exactly what makes it special. Walk in and you'll find a full Italian deli stocked with everything you need for a proper feast, a small eat-in area with tables plus a few outside seats, a market with specialty items you won't find at your average grocery store, including gelato, and a bakery that is, frankly, dangerous.

What We Had

On our visit, we sampled a sub, a panini, and — the undisputed highlight — some of the most heavenly donuts we have ever encountered. We're not exaggerating. The honey glazed and orange honey glazed were amazing and huge! These donuts deserve their own paragraph. Their own blog post, even. Go for the deli, stay for the donuts.
